1. Scrutinize the labels, packaging, and contents of goods.
2. Seek authorized retailers.
3. Look for missing sales tax charges.
4. Insist on secure transactions.
5. Know the actual cost of the goods.
6. Familiarize yourself with the appearance of the product and where it is sold.
7. Examine the workmanship and quality of the goods.
